Your first appointment or initial visit in any doctor’s office is something that may be stressful. At Reilly Chiropractic we do everything we can to make your first visit comfortable, easy, and even enjoyable. When you enter our office you will be greeted by your name and welcomed with a handshake. Our staff will cordially guide you through the paperwork required and answer any questions you may have. You will then receive a tour of the office and watch a welcome video.
Following that you will meet the doctor who will finish your tour and get to know you on a personal level. After the you feel comfortable the doctor will work to solve whatever issue you may be having and work to establish goals for your care at the office. The conversation will be followed by a detailed spinal exam which exceeds everyone’s expectations. Based on the previously discussed goals the doctor will evaluate if x-rays are necessary or not, along with any other testing and/or imaging. Finally depending on your unique situation the doctor will either provide some home recommendations or perform some non-invasive pain reducing treatment.
That will conclude your initial visit in our office you will then be scheduled at your convenience to review your Results and Treatment plan. Typically the staff will have already verified your insurance benefits and you will be able to make a payment if required on your way out. Following this visit your new friend and doctor will review your examination, consultation, and any additional testing while keeping your previously discussed goals in mind and develop a treatment plan.
The entire first visit typically takes between 1 hour to 1 and a half hours. The time depends on how detailed of an issue you have along with whether you have pre-filled out your paperwork or not. We look forward to meeting you and guiding you through this easy process to become healthier.
