Rehabilitation is something that has been around for quite some time. Ask any chiropractor, athletic trainer, personal trainer, or physical therapist and they will likely tell you that rehabilitation including stretching and exercising hasn’t changed a whole lot in the past 150 years. Granted there have been new ways of doing things but one of the best ways to stretch today is the same as it was 2000 years ago YOGA.
The biggest difference with Reilly Chiropractic and any other physical medicine clinic or practitioner is the integration of rehabilitation with multiple other forms of treatment. At Reilly Chiropractic we have detailed rehabilitation plans that involve an intensive phase care, corrective care phase, and stabalization care phase and we pay constant attention to your progress. Rehabilitation is missing from many other chiropractors offices but at Reilly Chiropractic be rest assured that we know it is vital to a long term recovery.
With Dr.Reilly’s Masters in Rehabilitation it allows him to serve the Chippewa Valley Community in a more advanced way, it is like having a Chiropractor, Primary Care Doctor, Athletic Trainer, Physical Therapist, and Massage Therapist all rolled into one. Dr.Reilly does not claim to outperform any of these other practitioners and in fact he works cohesively with many of these types of practitioners on a regular basis; however it is nice to have a doctor with understanding and training on so many broad range topics and fields.
At Reilly Chiropractic we use a three phase protocol of rehab that entails Chiropractic Adjustments or Manipulation, Pettibon Spinal Curve Correction, NeuroMuscular Re-education, Therapeutic Exercise and Stretching, Massage, Kinesiotaping, Manual Therapy such as Graston Technique and Active Release Technique, and much more.
